8.18.2018  |  Deer Creek Overlook

As the pastor says in this video, “the key to a happy marriage is a sense of humor and flexibility.” Jill and Andrew put that to the test when about halfway through their outdoor ceremony, it began to rain. The wedding guests made their way indoors, the bride walked down the aisle a second time, and the couple exchanged their vows surrounded by family and friends. The party started when they broke out cowboy hats and glow sticks, and guests kept the dance floor packed all night. Congratulations, Jill and Andrew!

Lauren and Steve met on a blind date that "never really ended."  Two years later, they travelled to San Francisco, where Steve proposed at the Golden Gate Bridge. They exchanged vows overlooking the water at the Woodlawn Estate in St. Mary's County, surrounded by family and friends. Guests enjoyed goofing off in the selfie booth, exploring the beautiful grounds, and despite the summer heat, kept the dance floor packed. The couple is excited to begin the next chapter of their lives, and look forward to welcoming their daughter this fall. Congratulations, Lauren and Steve!

For Melissa and Sam, their first love turned out to be “the one.” They began dating when they were teenagers, and exchanged vows on a beautiful day surrounded by extended family from around the world. Before the ceremony, they had a quiet moment to themselves during an emotional First Look (even if Mother Nature tried to blow things off course!). Two little guests briefly stole the show as the couple’s dogs stopped by for a visit. The bride and groom danced the night away, with Sam occasionally showcasing some impressive breakdancing moves. Congratulations, Melissa and Sam!

11.18.2017  |  Sheraton Baltimore North

When Michael and Jessica first connected, she always seemed “too busy” to remember to schedule an actual date! Michael was persistent, and the happy couple said “I do” at Sheraton Baltimore North in Towson surrounded by friends and family. Guests had a great time goofing off in the photo booth and on the dance floor, breaking into a conga line and being shown how to do a proper dress twirl by the bride’s nieces. Congratulations to the new Mr. and Mrs. Mroz!

10.28.2017  |  Chesapeake Bay Beach Club

Jess and Jack are the kind of couple you meet and instantly feel a connection with. They’re both so genuine, caring, and know how to party - their reception showcased some pretty advanced dance moves, including the legendary “Octopus Arms.” They wrote heartfelt letters to one another to read before the ceremony, and said “I do” overlooking the water at the beautiful Chesapeake Bay Beach Club. As the sun set, guests danced the night away with the bride and groom. Congratulations to the new Mr. and Mrs. Strickland!

9.15.2017  |  Glen Foerd on the Delaware

Cara and Steve were married on the water at the beautiful Glen Foerd on the Delaware in Philadelphia. The two first met in Atlantic City when they were both celebrating with friends, and the rest is history. They wrote heartfelt letters to each other, which they read before the ceremony, and both expressed how much they’re looking forward to starting their lives together as husband and wife. After they exchanged “I do’s,” the party started and guests celebrated by keeping the dance floor packed. On one of their dates, they recreated the famous lift scene from Dirty Dancing, and they didn’t disappoint when the song came on during the reception. Here’s to the new Mr. and Mrs. Ostopchuk!

8.19.2017  |  American Visionary Art Museum

Jennifer and Dexter exchanged rings at the stunning American Visionary Art Museum in downtown Baltimore, surrounded by friends and family. Dexter said he knew Jennifer was "the one" when they took a trip together to Jamaica, where Dexter's family is originally from, and experienced the real Jamaican lifestyle. Although not all family members were able to attend, the Jamaican culture was honored and celebrated throughout the ceremony and into the evening as guests danced the night away. It was a joyous, festive day, and they both shared how proud they are to finally call each other their spouse. Congratulations to the new Mr. and Mrs. Phillips!

5.19.2017  |  Antrim 1844

A recurring joke of the day was that the groom had better be on time, and thankfully he was! Lauren and Travis said “I do” at the beautiful Antrim 1844, just as the rain stopped and the sun came out. Everyone kept saying how they are the “perfect match” for one another, and it’s easy to see why. Their vows were so beautiful and personal - they truly are best friends, and are so excited to start their lives together as husband and wife. Congratulations, Mr. and Mrs. Rodgers!

5.7.2017  |  Walker's Overlook

It was love at first sight for Tara and Walt when they met on a blind date. They originally planned to get married last year, but put their wedding on hold after Walt was diagnosed with cancer. Now in remission, the happy couple had a lot to celebrate as they said "I do" on a beautiful day surrounded by the friends and family who supported them during what proved to be a very difficult year. It was an emotional day with lots of happy tears and sweet moments. Walt got a little tongue tied during their vows, and the couple's dog, Paisley, was part of the bridal party. Here's to a lifetime of happiness for the new Mr. and Mrs. Weise!

12.9.2016  |  St. Francis de Sales + Martin's East

Maria and Shane first met at a bonfire and their connection was instant. They both knew early on that they'd found the person they wanted to share their life with, as they sweetly describe in their video. They first met in December, so they felt it only natural to celebrate their wedding during the same month. Following a ceremony at St. Francis de Sales, they celebrated with their 200 guests at Martin's East, which was beautifully decorated for the holidays. Maria and Shane are so excited to be starting their journey as husband and wife - congratulations to the Moscas!

9.10.2016  |  Jesus the Good Shepherd + Herrington on the Bay

We had the pleasure of capturing Jenn and Colin's engagement shoot last year, and they walked down the aisle on a warm fall day at the beautiful Jesus the Good Shepherd Church. Towson University is what first brought Jenn to Maryland, and ultimately the reason they met. The part of their wedding day they were looking forward to the most was celebrating with family and friends, and that's just what they did at Herrington on the Bay. Guests enjoyed walking around the beautiful grounds, playing games, being silly in the photo booth, and kept the dance floor packed. Jenn and Colin included fun details, such as a lively entrance and a group shot of all their fellow Towson alumni. Here's to the new Mr. and Mrs. Keim!

8.13.2016  |  Belmont Manor

Brian and Elesia couldn't wait to walk down the aisle on a sunny August day on the beautiful grounds of Belmont Manor in Elkridge. Brian knew Elesia was "the one" when she walked into a party and "everything stopped" - as he put it, "where else can you find a professional cheerleader and a Ph.D all in one?" Elesia was drawn to Brian's compassion and commitment to family, which was evident by the loved ones that surrounded them on this special day. The bride shared a touching first look with her father, and the couple exchanged heartfelt personal vows. After jumping the broom to signify the start of their new life together, they danced the night away before a fun glow stick exit.

6.25.2016  |  Whitehall Estate

Ryan and Katherine met while both working as camp counselors.  Ryan noticed Katherine wearing a University of Virginia shirt, asked if she went there, and the rest is history! They both enjoyed relaxing and getting ready with their bridal party, and shared a sweet moment by holding hands around the door before their outdoor ceremony at the beautiful Whitehall Estate in Bluemont, VA. Guests beat the heat with freeze pops during the cocktail hour, and danced the night away to the groom's favorite '80s music. Ryan and Katherine, we wish you a lifetime of love and happiness as the new Mr. and Mrs. Lewis!

6.4.2016  |  Holy Cross Church + Tabrizi's

Brandon and Kelly said "I Do" in the heart of Charm City. They are both so sweet and down-to-earth, and the entire day felt like a celebration of their journey. Following their ceremony at Holy Cross, the oldest church in South Baltimore, the wedding party traveled to Federal Hill Park for some gorgeous photos overlooking the city. Guests enjoyed spectacular views of the Inner Harbor at the one and only Tabrizi’s, and let loose in the photo booth and on the dance floor. The newlyweds ended the evening with a sweet moment, looking at the Baltimore lights while sharing a kiss on the pier. Congrats to the new Mr. and Mrs. Yost!

5.21.2016  |  Linganore Winery

Being a part of Brett and Ashley's wedding was such an honor.  We had the pleasure of shooting Brett's sister's wedding nearly two years ago, and it was so fun to see the whole family celebrating together again. Brett and Ashley are both so genuinely kind, and Linganore Winery served as the perfect backdrop to their intimate ceremony. The reception included fun, rustic touches that fit the venue perfectly, and both toddlers and grandparents didn't waste any time hitting the dance floor!

10.2.2015  |  Vandiver Inn

A little rain didn’t dampen Brittany and Vince’s beautiful wedding day at the Vandiver Inn in Havre de Grace. The bride shared a touching "first look" with her father, followed by a sweet moment with her husband-to-be before they walked down the aisle. The reception kicked into full gear as Vince broke out of the traditional mother/son dance and invited guests to join him on the dance floor. In the video, Vince says, “it’s the journey that matters” -- we wish the new Mr. and Mrs. Salamone all the best as the next chapter of their journey begins.

Towson University

Jenn and Colin decided to take the engagement “old school”… literally. They first met at Towson University, so they headed back to the starting grounds, where we were able to capture the behind-the-scenes fun of their engagement shoot. Their photographer captured some beautiful shots around campus and on the Tigers football field. It’s easy to see how in love they are and how they felt right back at home.

5.22.2015  |  Riverdale Manor

Stephanie and Brandon were married over Memorial Day weekend at Riverdale Manor in Lancaster. The groom’s father officiated the ceremony under a stunning sycamore tree with a flowing river behind it, and the couple exchanged roses as a first gift to one another. In honor of the bride’s Japanese heritage, the reception included sweet and thoughtful details such as handmade origami place cards, and chopsticks as a fun wedding favor. Guests took advantage of the gorgeous weather and enjoyed exploring the grounds, getting goofy in the photo booth, and dancing the night away with the happy couple.

5.17.2015  |  St. Peter's Episcopal Church + Raspberry Plain

Andrea and Brooks said “I do” on a sunny May afternoon at St. Peter’s Episcopal Church in Purcellville, VA, with a reception at Raspberry Plain. Andrea had to make a slight edit to the pastor’s words - the church erupted in laughter, and it set the tone for this joyous, happy day. When guests were asked if they would continue to love and support the couple as they continue their journey as husband and wife, they shouted a resounding, “we do!”  Both Andrea and Brooks’s families travelled great distances to celebrate their wedding; Andrea’s from Thailand and Brooks’s from California. The evening ended with a perfect intro to summer with a runway of sparklers.

Their guests packed the dance floor all night, and the evening ended with a sparkler send off.

1.31.2015  |  Dutch's Daughter

Sarah and Matt have a unique story, which they tell beautifully in this weddeo's extended opening. They had a chance encounter that eventually led them down the aisle. Married in an intimate, candlelit ceremony at Dutch’s Daughter in Frederick, the ceremony was officiated by the groom's father. After a lively reception, they braved the cold and we were able to capture some amazing shots in snowy Downtown Frederick.

10.25.2014  |  University of Maryland Chapel + Old Ebbitt Grill

Megan and Bill met at the University of Maryland, and were married at the UMD Chapel on a beautiful fall day. They took some stunning photos at the World War II Memorial before joining their guests for an unforgettable rooftop cocktail hour featuring the lead singer of the band that played during their first date. Friends and family, many of whom travelled great distances to celebrate with the couple, danced the night away at the Old Ebbitt Grill. Every once in a while, you have the honor of being a part of your friends’ special day, but being able to capture the memories made this all the more special.

9.21.2013  |  U.S. Naval Academy + Michael's on the South River

Matt and Katie’s ceremony took place inside the beautiful U.S Naval Academy Chapel in Annapolis, Maryland. After exchanging vows, they exited through the “arch of swords,” which traditionally ends with a friendly “swat” to the bride’s backside. Their friends and family sang and danced nonstop to a live band at Michael’s on the South River, and following tradition, their wedding cake was sliced with one of the swords that the couple passed when exiting the chapel. So many touching, heartfelt details went into creating such a special day for a very special couple.
